Masood is an experienced clinical professor and has over 25 years of experience in the NHS and continues to practice as a family physician providing frontline primary care. He is highly successful in influencing policy and has held highly influential roles within NHS England and Improvement (as the Director for Digital Primary Care NHSX ). Masood is the Managing Partner of one of the largest single-site practices in England and he has influenced the blueprint for digital transformation in healthcare. He is the Director of Digital Primary care across England and he set up the latest £500million framework for IT solutions ( insisting on interoperability and standards to join the framework)

Expertise -
1. Masood was the lead for the national digital primary care workstream of the system-wide response to COVD -19 in England

2.Masood has worked with various large consultancy companies including recently as a Medical and Digital Advisor with a middle east firm on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vaccine / Virtual Care and Primary Health Care programs.

3.He firmly believes that a joined-up health system can be achieved through effective sharing of health information and the use of available innovative technology. During his career so far, He has delivered large-scale transformational projects such as the Patient online program across the whole of England.

4.At a local level in Birmingham and Solihull, Masood is the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) for the largest Clinical Commissioning Group in England and SRO for the Your Care Connected (shared record) program, which improved the care for 1.9million patients.

Masood has experience working in a variety of Urgent and Emergency Care settings, including service review of large Emergency Department in Birmingham and Manchester.
